My Life Philosophy
My wife and I spent the first several years of our adult life near poverty. I had a Business degree but lacked other, even more important qualities that were necessary in order to bring about financial success.
Three keys to success
Life has taught me that it that it takes a coming together of three key aspects to create a happy and successful life. These are spiritual, emotional, and financial. All three require a personal commitment. These three create a synergy which catapults us into the best life has to offer. Interestingly, the financial component is the least important of the three, but success in the financial area comes as the first two areas are worked out in a person’s heart.
Some can achieve a level of financial success without health in these other two areas. However, observation tells me that for most of us, it becomes a “ticking time bomb” under a “house of cards.” For instance,
I have had friends who tied their self worth to their money only to watch it come crashing down in a market correction or some other unforeseen challenge of life. Others discovered that money didn’t solve how lonely or empty they felt.
Life doesn’t have to be this way. There is way to have spiritual, emotional and financial peace that rewards us, not with not perfect lives, but satisfied and happy lives. When we apply certain principles financial success falls into place.
